I spent five days in the Peruvian Amazon. I had an encounter with nature, I came into contact with animals, I was very attentive to all the sounds, and I was able to contemplate all that makes up and differs in the Amazon. It was a wonderful experience; I can't describe in words what it was like to feel part of it all and the connection I had with nature and with God. Wonder Amazon Peru was excellent, with great attention and care throughout the entire tour. Thank you very much and goodbye!

It was an incredible experience. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve. They were attentive from my arrival in Tarapoto until my return to the same city. I truly enjoyed these four days, which ended far too quickly. I was also able to observe different types of birds, monkeys, fish, amphibians, and bats. The food was prepared excellently by the guide. I hope to return to this amazing place in the future and explore this beautiful area in greater depth.

An incredible experience with our guides for 5 days and 4 nights in the heart of the rainforest! It was the rainy season, so the itinerary wasn't exactly as planned, but that certainly didn't affect the quality of the visit! Our guides cooked wonderfully and showed us lots of different flora and fauna—thank you to them! The sleeping conditions are a bit challenging, we know, but that's to be expected; we're in the middle of the jungle! Many thanks to the entire Wonder Amazon team!

How to get to
Wonder Amazon
From Lima (or anywhere in Peru), you can fly to Tarapoto (1 hour) or take a bus (24 hours).
Then, take ground transportation to Yurimaguas (2.5 hours) and continue by speedboat along the Huallaga River to Villa Lagunas (4 hours). From there, we will take you by vehicle to the Emanuel Varadero de Tibilo Native Community, the gateway to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve.
Departure times from Yurimaguas to Villa Lagunas: 5:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
